David Christie was raised in Kansas City and completed his education at the University of Kansas. He started his real estate career in Texas in 1980 and worked for Hank Dickerson Company for three and a half years prior to starting Christie Development Associates, LLC in April 1984. Mr. Christie traveled for companies such as Lincoln Property Company and Pacific Realty securing apartment development sites in the early 1980’s. He also worked as a contract leasing agent for Trammel Crow Company leasing grocery anchored shopping centers. Specializing in retail leasing and development, he proceeded to acquire land through the 1980’s and 1990’s. His focus has been retail development and renovation of existing centers, primarily grocery anchored properties. Mr. Christie has completed the development of over $500,000,000.00 in aggregate values including retail, offices, apartments and lot development. His primary focus with Christie Development as managing member is securing single tenant build to suit and power center opportunities with Home Depot, Target, Kohl’s, Academy, Hobby Lobby, TJX Companies, and Hy-Vee stores. Mr. Christie currently serves on the board of Game Day Memories. He has served on the board of directors for the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kansas City, and Great American Bank. Mr. Christie is married to his wife Mara and they have five children together, four grown young adults and a daughter Penelope who still lives at home.

Allison was born and raised in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. She attended Olathe public school and played on the Varsity soccer team throughout High school. After High school, she attended Johnson County Community College.

Allison has been in the Construction/Real Estate business for 20 years. She has been with Christie Development Associates, LLC for 15 years and for nine of those years as the “Controller.”

Allison manages in excess of 75 single asset LLC’s for Christie Development. She oversees all Property Management Functions including – Vendor contract management, CAM Reconciliations and manages the Tenant Relationships. Allison provides all the accounting data including A/P, AR, Reconciliations and all tax preparations. She provides Financial updates monthly for Mr. Christie and assists in Contract management for all new deals and assists with Tenant Lease Renewals.

Allison and her husband Aaron Edwards have been married for 14 years. Aaron is the Safety Specialist for Centric Construction, and they have three children, daughters Logan and Jorden and a son Austin. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and their many, many activities, particularly sports.

Kent grew up in the Kansas City Area and attended the University of Missouri.

Kent spent over 30 years in the Kansas City area banking industry with leadership roles at Mercantile Bank, Gold Bank, M&I Bank, and was a founding member, investor and Board member at Alterra Bank. During the last four years, Kent has worked with Christie Development, most specifically in the financing and incentive areas regarding new and existing projects.

Kent has been married to his wife, Leslie for 35 years and they have three daughters and six grandchildren. Leisure time is spent golfing, traveling and seeing the grandchildren.

Ellen was raised in the greater Kansas City Metropolitan area. After completing Bauder College in Arlington, TX, Ellen began her career in the Fashion business. Ellen worked in Sales at the Apparel Mart in Dallas, TX, as a Buyer for two department stores in Kansas City, MO, and managed a garment manufacturing company in Miami, FL.

For the past 20 years, Ellen has owned and managed her investment properties, including residential and short-term rentals, in a number of states. Ellen joined Christie Development Associates, LLC in 2022 as the Property Manager. She is responsible for all Property Management Functions. These include annual CAM Reconciliations, Vendor Contract Management for Property Maintenance, assisting with Lease Management and Renewals, and maintaining Tenant Relationships.

Ellen has three children. Alexandria is a Senior at Loyola in Chicago, and twins, Sammy and Isabelle, are Juniors at the University of Arkansas. Ellen’s greatest joy is travelling with her kids.

Garrett was born and raised in Kansas City. He attended Blue Valley Northwest High School where he excelled at football, basketball, and track. Garrett then went on to play football at the University of Central Missouri where he was an All-American Quarterback along with getting an entrepreneurship degree and minor in finance. After college Garrett went on to play football professionally in the Canadian Football League for the Montreal Alouettes and then for the New York Guardians in the XFL.

Garrett has been with Christie Development for four years. Garrett is involved in acquisitions, leasing, entitlements, and development. Garrett has been involved in over $50million worth of deals in his time at Christie Development. He is also an active member of ICSC.

Garrett is married to his wife Madison and a new father to their son Riggs. In Garrett’s free time he helps coach local quarterbacks, enjoys the outdoors, going to sporting events and concerts, golfing, and anything active.
